Description

Stibnite is also the most important antimony Sb ore and is often mined for large amounts of gold, silver, selenium or bismuth. The name comes from the Greek word anthémon-flower, according to the crystal form. It belongs to the orthorhombic-dipyramidal system. Its colour may be steel grey to lead with blue to green.
